Diana Ross is a seasoned KaliRay TriYoga teacher of 17 years that specializes in restorative yoga flow and breast cancer yoga classes. Diana can be heard on radio talk shows for women, and is featured in many breast cancer survivor blogs. She is a published author of the Healthy and Hopeful Lifestyle E-book series, a recording artist of an instructional CD and DVD series.

Practicing Restorative Yoga and Mindfulness is key to a new way to approach cancer. We no longer have to sit in deep despair but look at this diagnosis to know a whole new aspect of “who we are” and “how we can direct our own health.” Having cancer can be stressful but having cancer also beckons us to step right in the present moment and into our power, our joy and our purpose. We do have choices. Cancer is not necessarily a death sentence and it surely isn’t a fight. If anything it is a time to work on being present so the mind can relax and be open for making good choices.
